“Free Russian whales ” coalition was put nominated for the Russian Headliner of the Year 2019 award. Coalition is presented by Dmitry Lisitsyn, head of the Sakhalin Environmental Watch public organization.

The project was nominated in the nomination “Social Activities and Social Projects”. If we become one of the winners, then the prize will support our work on the release of walruses from the #walrusjail, the introduction of a legislative ban on the capture of cetaceans and the inclusion of transient killer whales in the Endangered species Book of Russia.
