On June 27 VNIRO let go 2 orcas and 6 belugas into the sea, after 7 days of horrible transportation in small containers, without rehabilitation on site, without an opportunity for the animals to get used to a new place. The level of negligence of this operation exceeds any possible limits.

At this point we can only hopes for a miracle. VNIRO and capture companies conducted release operation that violating all transportation rules and world standards of rehabilitation and release. At the same time, there are still no trustworthy data on how many belugas were released, there is not a single video confirming that all 8 animals survived transportation and the so-called “release”. Everything happened and happens under the “secret” stamp, and there must surely be a reason for that!
